Kleine Kammermusik is a unique Baroque ensemble that combines paired treble woodwind instruments (oboe and recorder) and a supportive continuo group of mixed woodwind, string, and keyboard.  The ensemble’s virtuoso members – Geoffrey Burgess and Meg Owens, oboes and recorders; Stephanie Corwin, bassoon; Rebecca Humphrey, cello and viola da gamba; and Leon Schelhase, harpsichord – have developed an intuitive feeling for the musical style of the Baroque, and their rapport produces performances full of elegant control and superb artistry.
