Capitol Early Music’s 2018-2019 Season

An exciting array of concerts and workshops are coming in 2018-2019! Subscriptions for the concert season are available here. Individual concert ticket sales open 6 weeks before each concert.

  • Sunday, September 30, 2018, 4:00 pm: Land of Three Faiths: Voices of Ancient Mediterranean Jews, Christians and Muslims.  The Rose Ensemble performs music of the Hispano-Arabic Middle Ages
  • Friday, October 12, 2018, 8:00 pm: Dialogue of the Graces.   An evening of Couperin, Dornel, and Hotteterre by members of Kleine Kammermusik, the unique ensemble of paired woodwinds and continuo.
  • Friday, February 8, 2019, 8:00 pm: La Joie de la Danse.  French baroque dances by Caroline Copeland. With instrumentalists Alison Melville, Mary Findley, Douglas Poplin, and Patrick Merrill.
  • Workshops on the day following the October and February concerts: Baroque ensembles (October 13); Dancers and Instrumentalists (February 9). Registration opens 6-8 weekes before each workshop.
